os2008 but now scrobbling won't work. I posted problem on it forum
in os2008 but got no replies
My brain is always open to being poked and prodded.
I never got scrobbling to work on OS2008 all by itself. I
decided to write a script to pass the songs and artists being
played in Media Player directly to MaemoScrobbler and it worked
(but was obviously hackish). One of the guys behind MaemoScrobbler
messages me and goes "the media player already sends out an event
saying what's being played". I told him it didn't work. I never
heard back, so... not sure what else might have happened since.
Oh, and to clarify in case it was misunderstood. I'm not leaving
Jaiku. I'm just moving the webfeeds there so that they don't double
up on FriendFeed (my only real problem at the moment).
Thanks Jason, what a bummer. It's not scrobbling at all for me
on kagu. When I go to control panel>extras>scrobbling it say
cannot connect. I reinstalled, verified my user name &
password, still nothing. :(
That's odd. When I had it installed, I would go to the
Scrobbling settings and I would notice that the timer was always
stuck at 8:37 or something. I was attempting to use it with the
default Media Player though... not Kagu.
